April 16, 2021. Investing on the health of its employees, the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) conducted its Annual Physical Examination (APE) last Thursday, April 15, 2021. Ms. Rowena Dacanay (BAFS-Procurement Group), Mr. Jeffrey S. Garrido and Mr. Charlie T. Palilio (BAFS Health and Safety Protocol Officers) coordinated the activity to ensure that all personnel are tested and evaluated, and that health and safety protocols are precisely observed. A strict scheduling and following health protocol was implemented (i.e. social distancing, wearing of mask) at each station. A holding tent was also provided at the parking area. A total of 74 out of 84 employees were tested for: urine analysis, chest x-ray, vital signs, eye examination, complete blood count, blood chemistry, ECG and drug test. Flu vaccine was likewise administered. ###
