Logical Framework (2023-2028)
Guided by the BAFS 2023-2028 Strategic Plan, the Bureau developed its Logical Framework to further express its commitment not only to develop Philippine National Standards (PNS) for the agri-fishery sector based on sound science, but also to ensure that these standards are promoted and adopted as technical regulations by the DA regulatory agencies. For the next five years, BAFS will persevere to ensure consumer health and safety and make the agri-fishery sector globally competitive, through the adoption of standards into technical regulations to sustain the export and market access of major Philippine agriculture and fishery products. The Logical Framework will steer and serve as a guide for the Standards Development Division, Technical Services Division, Organic Agriculture Division and Laboratory Services Division to focus their efforts on the relevant tasks that are indeed contributory to the overall goal of the Bureau.
