24 June 2021. The Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards will re-launch the BAFS Online Academy this year with new courses to offer. The BAFS Online Academy is a platform that provides a learning experience through online modular lessons. It offers time flexibility and is available for free!
Meanwhile, you may enroll in the existing courses, namely (a) Online Capability Building on the Rules and Procedures on the Provision of Certification Assistance for Organic Agriculture Entities; (b) Online Training on the Philippine National Standards for Organic Agriculture (PNS OA), and the use of the National List of Permitted Substances for Organic Agriculture; (c) Risk-based Inspection (RBI): Conducting RBI during pre-assessment or organic farm management; and (d) Virtual Awareness Seminar on the Philippine National Standards for Organic Biocontrol Agents (PNS/BAFS 182:2016). As of now, the BAFS Online Academy has over 250 enrollees and 129 graduates!
