The DA-BAFS-SDD Management Team and the Technical Working Group (TWG) conducted a Field Data Gathering (FDG) on April 26, 2024, at DA-Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) to develop a Philippine National Standard (PNS) on Brown Rice - Product Standard - Grading and Classification. The objective was to identify the minimum grading requirements for brown rice using laboratory analysis and set grading parameters. The TWG members from DA-NFA, IRRI, TAO Foods, and SL Agritech attended the FDG. The TWG will discuss the collected data in their next meeting in May 2024. ###
