The DA-BAFS, in collaboration with Mr. Maowel A. Villanueva and Engr. Al Eugene L. Torres, experts from the Cavite State University - National Coffee Research and Development Center and Mr. Jeffrie Respicio of the Municipal Agriculture Office - Nasugbu, visited two coffee farms and processing centers in Batangas and Cavite on April 4-5, 2024. During this visit, the team documented the practices and took photographs of the facilities at Aga Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative in Nasugbu, Batangas, and Panungyan Food Products in Mendez, Cavite.
These photographs will be included in the Illustrative Guide (IG) for the Philippine National Standard (PNS) Green Coffee Bean - Specifications to further explain the provision of the standard.
IG, is a knowledge product, developed to ensure a consistent understanding and interpretation of the PNS, facilitating its effective adoption and implementation.###
