On April 2-4, 2024, the DA-BAFS Assessment Team conducted audits to a core PGS Group from the Province of Nueva Vizcaya. This audit aimed to thoroughly scrutinize the group’s adherence to the PGS Organic Certification Scheme, specifically focusing on their certification process and management systems. Supporting the audit process were representatives from the DA Regional Field Office II and Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 2. The involvement of key stakeholders, including observers from the Provincial Agriculture Office and the Bayombong Municipal Agriculture Office, shows the concerted effort towards promoting sustainable agricultural practices within the region. ###
