The DA-BAFS, in coordination with the DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Regional Fisheries Office 6 (BFAR-RFO 6), visited Pompano private farms, techno demo farm, and SEAFDEC Igang Marine Station in Guimaras and Iloilo on February 26-March 1, 2024, to document their farming practices through interviews. The collected data will contribute to the development of PNS on the Code of Good Aquaculture Practices (GAqP) for Pompano in 2026. Subsequently, the PNS will function as a guide for farmers who wish to engage and improve Pompano farming through safe and responsible aquaculture practices. ###
