The DA-BAFS Standards Research Division, in coordination with the DA-Regional Field Office XI, visited exporters, farmers, and trading centers in Davao Region on February 27 to March 1, 2024, to collect data on size classification and defects of pummelo, durian, and mangoes. This information will serve as input for the amendment of the Philippine National Standards (PNS) on Fresh Fruit - Pummelo - Specification (PNS/BAFPS 11:2004), Fresh Fruit - Durian Specification (PNS/BAFPS 12:2004), and Fresh Fruit – Mangoes – Specifications (PNS/BAFPS 13:2004).
