The DA-BAFS conducted two successful sessions of its seminar series on Statistics in Standards-Related Research and Impact Evaluation on February 16, 27, and 28, 2024, at the BAFS Conference Room in Diliman, Quezon City. The main objective of this learning intervention was to enhance the statistical proficiency of the DA-BAFS personnel and enable them to understand statistical concepts and methods for various BAFS functions.

During the training, participants were introduced to the difference between descriptive and inferential statistics, and how to use parametric statistical tools to draw conclusions and make informed decisions. The sessions covered a broad range of topics, from basic concepts to advanced techniques, enabling attendees to gain a better understanding of the practical application of these tools in standards development, research related to standards, impact evaluation, and organic-related functions. ###
