A team of inspectors from the DA-BAFS Organic Agriculture Division and DA-Regional Field Office (RFO) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Regulatory Division conducted a monitoring activity of certified core PGS group farmer-members from January 23 to 25, 2024, in Benguet. The objective of the activity was to verify the continued compliance of the certified core PGS farmer-members with the Philippine National Standard (PNS) relevant to organic agriculture and to validate the effective implementation of their correction and corrective action plan for the findings found during the previous inspection.
Representatives from the Organic Agriculture Program, Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center of CAR, and Municipal Agriculture Office of La Trinidad joined and assisted in this activity. ###
