The DA-BAFS has released the Explanatory Manual for the Philippine National Standard (PNS) Good Animal Husbandry Practice (GAHP) for Beef Cattle and Buffalo - Code of Practice (PNS/BAFS 200:2023). This manual is designed not only for regulatory agencies but also for other stakeholders involved in this sector. The manual provides additional information on good practices and minimum requirements for the commercial or backyard rearing/farming of beef cattle and buffalo for food use.
