From 18-20 June 2024, the DA-BAFS Assessment Team conducted an assessment of a core PGS group based in Aborlan, Palawan, regarding their application for accreditation as an organic certifying body. The objective was to verify the group's compliance with relevant accreditation guidelines, ensuring their certification services are consistent, competent, and impartial. This activity was done with the assistance from representatives of the DA-RFO MIMAROPA and the Province of Palawan.
