Field Data Gathering for the Development of Explanatory Manaul for PNS Code of Good Agricultural Practices for Mango

The Department of Agriculture Regional Office III-Central Luzon, along with experts from the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) and the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) through its Technical Services Division (TSD), carried out a field data gathering activity at three PhilGAP-certified mango farms in Zambales. This activity is part of the development of an Explanatory Manual (EM) for the Philippine National Standards (PNS) Code of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Mango. The team documented practices and facilities crucial for the development of the EM.

The EM serves as a supporting document of the PNS, providing additional notes, clarifications, or relevant images for specific provisions or requirements of the adopted food safety PNS.###
