DA-BAFS conducted field compliance assessment (FCA) of ongoing efficacy trials with approved Experimental Use Permit (EUP)

The Compliance Assessment Team of the DA-BAFS conducted field compliance assessment (FCA) of ongoing efficacy trials with approved Experimental Use Permit (EUP) from May 15 to 17, 2024 in Kidapawan City, Cotabato.

The efficacy trial is conducted to assess the efficacy of the product against the major insect pests and diseases of grapes (𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘢). During the activity, it was observed that the prevalent pests were leaf blight disease and damage caused by grape flea beetles (captured in photos).

The conduct of efficacy trials through EUP is a pre-requisite for the registration of Organic Biocontrol Agents (OBCA) products.###
