The Standards Development Division (SDD) of DA-BAFS conducted a hybrid initial Stakeholder Consultation on June 14, 2024, for the development of Philippine National Standard (PNS) on Brown Rice — Product Standard — Grading and Classification. This consultation took place at the DA-Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) Apacible Hall in Quezon City and was also accessible via Google Meet.
The consultation aimed to gather recommendations from stakeholders for the development of specific grading requirements and classification for Brown Rice.
