The DA-BAFS concluded its 2024 Capacity Building series, "Statistics in Standards-Related Research and Impact Evaluation," with the final session on July 3-4, 2024, at the BAFS Conference Room in Quezon City. This last session focused on introducing statistical software to support standards research and impact evaluation activities.
Previous sessions, held between February and April 2024, covered topics such as the basics of statistics and applied statistics, including both parametric and non-parametric tests.
These Capacity Building activities are part of a 3-year Learning and Development Plan on Statistics, designed to equip DA-BAFS technical personnel with the knowledge and practical skills in statistics, research writing, and the use of statistical software, which are essential for their roles in standards research and impact evaluation.
