Tanza, Cavite – DA-BAFS participated in the National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP) Workshop on the Newly Approved Philippine National Standards (PNS) on Organic Agriculture last July 22 to 23, 2025.
he workshop aimed to level the understanding of the DA-BAFS, NOAP, National Organic Agriculture Board (NOAB), DA-Regional Field Office (DA-RFO), Organic Agriculture Focal Persons on relevant standards for organic agriculture. It also served as an avenue for knowledge exchange and gathering valuable inputs to improve the implementation of the program.
The Bureau represented by Dr. Gari Pellinor Hernandez, Ms. Geeza June Painaga – Auditor, Ms. Aubrey Katreena Ramos and Ms. Jenina Cusay, delivered the presentation and discussed concerns relevant to the adoption of PNS into technical regulations.
