The Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) commits to develop and promote standards and enforce organic agriculture regulations that will ensure food safety and quality, workers’ safety and welfare, environmental management that integrates climate change mitigation and adaptation practices, and global competitiveness of Philippine agricultural and fishery products and machinery.
