
The Philippine delegation led the proceedings, with ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐น๐ฝ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐ฎ serving as Chair of the TF-MASHP. ๐๐ผ๐๐ต๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น acted as the TF-MASHP Secretariat, while ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ผ, ๐ฅ๐ก๐ headed the Philippine contingent.
During the productive two-day session, the Task Force finalized the ASEAN Standards for Carrots and Passion Fruits. Discussions also progressed on the draft standards for Lemons and Figs. Demonstrating its commitment to regional harmonization, the Philippines pledged to lead the review of ASEAN Standards for Mango and Papaya, with their finalization targeted for Calendar Year 2028.
The DA-BAFS affirms its continued commitment to the TF-MASHP as its permanent Chair and to further harmonizing Philippine National Standards (PNS) with ASEAN Standards.
