By Katrina Maminta, Technical Services Division| May 12, 2021 | 2569 Views

May 6, 2021. Finally, the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) Operations Manual (OM) is now accessible and ready for viewing by the public! OIC Director Myer G. Mula, through the guidance of Secretary William D. Dar, has recently approved the OM, which is guided by the mandate of the Bureau’s Mission, Vision, and Objectives.

The OM is a guidebook that aims to provide a detailed description of BAFS operations through procedures, work instructions, and relevant forms. The OM basically has four (4) parts covering the office overview, quality management system, core processes, and administrative-related processes in accordance with the BAFS Citizen’s Charter and Employee’s Handbook.

This OM is the output of tedious work and the unwavering commitment of the BAFS personnel to provide not only its new and existing employees, but its stakeholders as well, with well-reviewed and updated written processes and procedures.

As practically flexible as it can be, the OM will provide step-by-step guidance so that tasks are carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible towards consistent results. ###
