Daram, Samar – The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (DA-BAFS) conducted the inspection of PGS Core farmer-members based in Daram, Samar on August 4 to 8, 2025.
The activity verified the compliance of the core PGS group farmer- members with the Philippine National Standard relevant to organic agriculture as a requirement for their organic certification. The activity was supported by technical personnel from the DA Regional Field Office VIII, along with representatives from the Local Government Units of Daram.
