The DA-BAFS recently conducted the 1st Annual Surveillance Audit of the Libudon Organic Farmers Association (LOFA) in Mati City, Davao Oriental.

 

As a newly accredited Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Certifying Body, LOFA’s processes were meticulously reviewed to ensure they remain consistent, competent, and impartial in awarding organic certifications. This audit is a vital step in protecting the “Organic” mark and building trust between our local farmers and consumers.

 

Once findings are cleared, Davao Region is set to reach a total of 32 PGS-certified organic farmers!
