Tublay, Benguet – The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (DA-BAFS) Compliance Assistance Team provides technical assistance to Tublay Organic Farming Practitioners Agriculture Cooperative (TOFPA-COOP) on September 16-19, 2025.
This assistance is intended to strengthen their understanding and implementation of prescribed requirements and procedures in their Manual of Operations (MO). It is also to guide the Certification Committee in accurately assessing and verifying farmer-members’ compliance with the group’s Internal Standards (IS) and ensuring that the organic certification procedures are in compliance to the group’s MO.
The activity was supported by DA-Regional Field Office (RFO) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) – Organic Agriculture Program, ATI-RTC CAR, PLGU-Benguet and LGU-Tublay.
